Maca Suazo
Maca Suazo immigrated to Canada from Chile in 1998. She holds a Fine Arts degree from the University of Waterlooand a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Guelph. Her work explores the relationship between painting and literature, drawing inspiration from narrative, symbolism, and the power of storytelling.
A passionate reader and nature enthusiast, Maca devotes her summers to organic farming, finding inspiration in the rhythms and textures of the natural world. She lives in Kitchener, Ontario, and maintains her studio at Globe Studios, where she continues to create work that bridges the literary and the visual.
