George Pavalsek

George Pavlasek is a Toronto-based photographer whose work explores the fleeting intervals between life’s beginnings and endings—“the meeting place of two eternities.” Since 1995, he has been fascinated by the passage of time, creating images that capture ephemeral moments while evoking memory, atmosphere, and dreamlike states.

Working with traditional, straight photography techniques, Pavlasek shoots exclusively on Hasselblad cameras, capturing precise and unmanipulated images that reflect both the beauty and transience of life.
