Eric Ouimet
Eric Ouimet was raised on a farm near the small community of Ste-Agathe, Manitoba, an upbringing reflected in the open skies and small-town imagery of his work. He graduated from l’Université de Saint-Boniface in Communications and Multimedia (2001) and has since worked in television as an award-winning motion graphics designer, creating logos and branding for a number of Western Canadian companies.
Eric’s passion for screen printing merges his graphic design expertise with a hands-on artistic approach, producing prints that are now held in private collections worldwide. Living on acreage just outside Winnipeg with his husband, his home studio is surrounded by the landscapes and scenery that inspire his art.
