Shane Norrie

Shane Norrie is an Ontario-based contemporary artist widely exhibited for both his paintings and ceramic work. Working across disciplines, Norrie’s paintings often echo the organic forms, tactile surfaces, and rich textures that define his clay practice. His work is continually evolving, drawing inspiration from local environments and familiar landscapes, while moving fluidly into abstraction.

Norrie’s artwork has been featured in numerous national and international publications, including Canadian House & Home, Style at Home, and Marie Claire Maison Italia. His work has also appeared on major television programs such as HGTV’s Income Property, Disaster DIY, Pure Design, Cityline, The Marilyn Denis Show, Canada AM, and the Apple TV+ series SEE.

Exhibiting extensively throughout his career, Norrie has received recognition from both peers and collectors for his distinctive cross-disciplinary approach. His ceramic works are held in the permanent collection of the Sanbao Ceramic Institute in Jingdezhen, China, while his paintings can be found in numerous private and corporate collections, including the Canadian Consulate in Nagoya, Japan.
