Joe Yunfeng Zhao

Joe Zhao's love for arts started at a very young age. At age of 5, he began learning drawing and sketching from a well-known oil painting professor in his home town. His love for art eventually led to a Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Oil Painting at Sichuan University of Fine Arts, one of the most prestigious fine arts institutions in China. His early works focused on still-lives,  portraits and landscape, the most common subjects of classic oil painting. His art works were exhibited at Toronto Expo and Queen West Art Crawl and were well accepted. 

During the last few years, Joe started experimenting on modern abstract art. Using various art mediums and techniques. Joe expressed his discovery of the world surrounding him. The fluidity of the changing colours, the strokes of brushes and the texture of the paints demonstrate the world in Joe's artistic eyes.
