Patricia Clemmens
Patricia Clemmens has been painting all of her life. From a young age she has always been very drawn to her natural surroundings and has grown to love translating that curiosity onto canvas through oil painting.
Clemmens lives in Oro-Medonte, Ontario with her husband, Brendan, and their two young boys, Mitch, and Joey. Patricia does most of her work from her home studio after her boys have been tucked into bed and her world as a Mom quiets down a bit. Painting, to Clemmens, is her way of finding herself again after a long day.
Patricia loves to explore the relationship of light and shadow and how the simplification of them can work together to create that contemporary whimsy so prevalent in her work.
