Michael Brown
Michael Brown is a Toronto-based contemporary painter known for his conceptual abstract work that incorporates grids, text, and numerical sequences. Since beginning his exhibition career in 2001, Brown has explored both mathematical and random number systems—such as Fibonacci sequences and the digits of pi—as visual elements within his compositions.
His innovative approach blends precision and abstraction, creating works that engage viewers with patterns, structure, and conceptual depth. Brown’s paintings have been exhibited in galleries across Toronto, Montreal, and Latin America, earning recognition for their thoughtful integration of mathematics, design, and abstract expression.
