Nicole Allen

Nicole is a contemporary Canadian painter whose work is inspired by the purity and truth of the natural world. Rather than creating exact representations, she captures the essence of her subjects through colour, simplified forms, and the organic yet graphic patterns found in nature. Her paintings explore a balance between natural structure and linear elements, creating compositions that are both cohesive and visually engaging. Working primarily in acrylics, she also incorporates pastel and pencil to build layered, textured forms.

Nicole holds a degree in Art History from Queen’s University and an honours diploma in Applied Museum Studies from Algonquin College. She began exhibiting professionally in 2010 and now paints full-time from her Ottawa studio as a member of The Loft Art Studios collective. Her work is included in private and corporate collections across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
