Marie Elaine Lalonde

In 2006 Marie-Elaine Lalonde received a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of Québec in Montréal (UQAM). Her works has been presented both abroad and in Canada, including at the London Art Fair, at the Affordable Art Fair in New York, at the Indian Art Fair in New Delhi, at the First Canadian Place Gallery in Toronto, at the Mont Saint-Hilaire's Fine Arts Museum. In 2012, the Arts Sutton Gallery will present her work in a solo exhibition: "biome ou l'osmose du paysage". She is also represented by Gallery Canvas in Toronto and by Arteria Gallery in Bromont, Qc. She has received many awards, such as the Best of Printmaking at the 50th edition of the TOAE, the 2010 Prize of Excellence for the annual contest exhibit at Mont Saint-Hilaire's Fine Arts Museum, a three-month residency at Montreal's Graff Studio in 2009, as well as the emerging artist prize during an inter-university video event in 2006.
