Susan Wallis

Susan was born and raised in Toronto’s west end. Since graduating from the University of Toronto and after the birth of her first child, Susan concentrated her creative talents on the areas of interior design, exhibit display and special project management. Susan was introduced to encaustic painting by purchasing such a painting during the Riverdale Artwalk in 2002. She continued to pursue training and hands on education in the medium and showcased her first paintings one year later to a wonderful public response, during the 2003 Riverdale Artwalk. She has not looked back. Susan resides in the east Toronto neighborhood of South Riverdale for the last 13 years with her husband, and their 2 children.
