Tori Smith

Tori Smith has been painting for about a decade. Her current paintings depict a ubiquitous element in our landscape: the trucks, diggers and other construction equipment that tear up, build, and rebuild our world. By creating compelling portraits of heavy machinery she engages the viewer in new ways of seeing these workaday objects so central to our environment. She has shown at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, City of Vaughan Juried Exhibition, as well in group shows at galleries such as Project Art, Praxis, Art Works Art Gallery, and Lennox Contemporary. This March she will be at the Artist Project in Toronto.
